GF Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipes & More

Who doesn’t love a warm chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven? For those with a gluten allergy or sensitivity, finding recipes that actually hold up to classic cookies can be a challenge. But do not worry, we’ve got you covered. We will be sharing several recipes that we have found the best, prepared favorites, and baking mixes! We are sharing some of our personal favorites as well as brands with high ratings. 

🍪 Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

– 1 ½ cups gluten-free flour 

– ½ tsp baking soda

– ¼ tsp salt

-¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

– ½ cup brown sugar, packed

– 1 tsp vanilla extract 

– 2 large eggs

– 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 

Instructions 

– preheat the oven to 350 

– line two baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent cookies from sticking 

– in a medium sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt 

– in a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer or a stand mixer to beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy

– combine wet and dry ingredients together gradually, do not overmix 

– fold in chocolate chips with a spatula, ensure to distribute evenly

– using a cookie scoop or a tbsp, scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets leaving 2 inches between each cookie 

– bake until cookies are golden brown on edges, roughly 8-10 minutes 

🍪 Sweet and Salty Chocolate Chip Cookies 

Ingredients 

– 1 ⅓ cups gluten-free flour 

– ¼ cup almond flour 

– 1 tsp baking soda 

– ½ tsp kosher salt 

– ½ cup butter

– 1 tbsp milk

– ¾ cup brown sugar 

– ¼ cup granulated sugar

– 1 large egg

– 2 tsp vanilla extract

– 1 cup chocolate chips 

– sea salt for sprinkling 

Instructions 

– In a medium bowl, whisk together flours, baking soda, and salt 

– melt butter over medium heat in a skillet 

-once butter begins to foam, stir continuously and remove when it turns to a golden brown, put into a medium bowl 

– add milk, brown sugar, granulated sugar to the brown butter and whisk to combine 

– whisk in egg and vanilla until smooth 

– mix in dry ingredients slowly, until well combined 

– stir in chocolate chips 

– cover bowl and let sit for 30 minutes at room temperature

– preheat oven to 350 and line two baking sheets with parchment paper 

– scoop dough into 2 tbsp balls and place on baking sheet 

– bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown 

– remove from oven and sprinkle with flaky salt
